Same Kmath. Your family’s rate.

Kmath Equity is how we run the company. It is not a coupon, a discount club or a lower plan. Every child gets the complete Kmath. What changes is the monthly rate, which follows what a household can reasonably give.

  • The same Kmath for every child

The same learning plan, paper workbooks and worksheets, short online check-ins and progress tracking, at every rate.

  • A rate that fits your home

Your rate follows your household size and yearly income. It falls in a range of $100 - $260 per student, per month.

Why household size matters

Five people share one income very differently than two people do. So we compare your income to a standard guideline for your household size. It is the federal poverty guideline that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) publishes each year. Alaska and Hawaii have their own guideline, so families there use theirs.

  • The same income can mean a different rate for a different household size.
  • The rate is per student, per month. It is never a package for the whole family. Two students at $130 is $260 a month.
  • Households of more than 8 people are counted too, with the official extra amount for each added person.

Same Kmath at every rate

A lower rate does not mean a smaller Kmath. Every family gets all of this.

  • A learning plan built around your child’s own results
  • Paper workbooks, lessons and worksheets
  • Short online check-ins that decide what comes next
  • A plan that changes as your child learns
  • Progress tracking you can read
  • Help for your family in English, Spanish, French, Haitian Creole or Portuguese

Kmath handles many jobs families normally depend on a tutor to manage: finding gaps, planning, ordering lessons, explaining a step another way, and checking understanding. Your family brings the effort, the encouragement and the conversation. Those matter just as much.

How we check your rate, and how we protect your privacy

  1. Start at your estimate

Your child begins right away at the rate you estimated. No paperwork stands in the way.

  2. Show us within 14 days

In your first 14 days, send one paper that shows your income. A recent pay stub, a letter from your employer, a benefits letter, self-employment records or a tax return all work. Cover your Social Security number, address and account numbers first. We never ask for a Social Security number, and we do not keep the file.

  3. If papers differ, we ask

A new job, fewer hours or a change in your household can make an older paper out of date. We ask what changed. We do not assume the worst.

  4. If nothing is sent

We remind you by email. If we still hear nothing by day 30, your next billing cycle moves to $260 per student. We never change a charge in the middle of a cycle.

Prefer not to share your income? Choose the $260 option and nothing needs to be checked. Your income is never put in a link, a shared page or the rate PDF. A shared rate card shows only the first name (if you add one), the rate and the $69 assessment.

If your income changes

If you lose a job or your hours are cut, tell us. A hard season for your income should not become lost learning for your child.

  • We start a new rate check right away. We do not wait for the yearly review.
  • While we check, your rate does not go up.
  • When the check is done, the new rate starts at your next bill.
  • If your income goes back up, the change waits for your yearly review.

A gentle yearly check

Your rate is set for 12 months. Then we check it again, and we tell you ahead of time.

  1. 60 days before

We tell you the review is coming. You can ask for it early.

  2. 30 days before

We ask for updated household information and documents.

  3. 7 days before

    One last reminder.

  4. On the date

We work out your rate again with the current rules, after your documents are reviewed.

If the federal guideline or our pricing rules have changed, we show you the new numbers and your new rate before it starts. We never change your rate quietly.
