These terms apply to everyone who uses Kmath. By using Kmath, you agree to them.
Kmath is a general partnership formed under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Kmath" mean that partnership and any entity it later converts into, or transfers its business to. "You" means the parent or guardian who created the account.
If Kmath changes its legal form, for example by converting to a limited liability company or a corporation, these terms continue in force with the successor entity and no new agreement is required.
In plain words: Kmath is a small business owned by two partners in Massachusetts, and that business is who your agreement is with. If it later becomes a different kind of company, this same agreement carries over.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and Kmath agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If Kmath later organises under the laws of a different state, that change applies only to matters arising after it takes effect. Anything that happened before remains governed by Massachusetts law.
In plain words: if there is ever a serious disagreement we cannot sort out between us, it is handled under Massachusetts law in a Massachusetts court. If the business moves somewhere else later, that does not change the rules for anything that already happened.
Kmath is an educational program. The DCAR is an educational assessment. It is not a medical or psychological evaluation. It does not diagnose conditions. It does not replace any professional evaluation your child may need.
The $69 DCAR fee is charged before the assessment begins. It is not refundable once payment is made. You receive two full reports and a 52-week roadmap. Kmath does not promise specific grades or outcomes.
Billing starts after you register. Your monthly amount is set during intake and shown to you before billing begins. Your subscription renews each month unless you cancel.
You can pause from your portal. Billing stops. Your data is saved. Return within 30 days and you pick up exactly where you left off with no new DCAR required. Return after 30 days and a new $69 DCAR is required because your child missed check-ins and at least one recalibration cycle.
Kmath creates two separate accounts when a family enrolls: one for the parent and one for the student.
Kmath has four portal types. The primary parent account uses email and password, activated through a magic link on first login. The student account uses a unique BP-XXXXXXX student ID with a 4 or 6 digit PIN, set by the student or the primary parent. The primary parent can create one co-parent or family member account with permissions they control. The primary parent can also create teacher or IEP coordinator accounts with view-only access to the child's progress and roadmap. Teachers can upload curriculum through their account. None of the secondary accounts can access billing information. An adult must complete enrollment and payment before any portal is activated.

All Kmath content, including reports, lessons, and parent guides, belongs to Kmath. You can use it for your child. You cannot copy, share, or sell it.
Kmath is an educational service. We are not responsible for academic results or school performance. Our reports are informational tools, not professional evaluations.
We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we will email you at least 14 days before they take effect.
