This page tells you what information Kmath collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

We do not use your child's assessment data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We share data with third parties only when needed to run the service, such as payment processing and cloud storage.
Your child's assessment data, check-in results, and roadmap are stored in your portal. This data is used only for your child's program. It is never shared with other families.
If you cancel, your data is retained for 90 days. At the 60-day mark, we send a reminder email. After 90 days, personal identifiers are removed and assessment records are anonymized. If you return after cancelling, a new $69 DCAR is always required regardless of how long you were away. This is because the monthly subscription includes the DCAR recalibration. If you did not pay that month, you did not receive it. A new DCAR is how the program restarts accurately.

We use cookies to remember your login and preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
All data is stored on encrypted servers. The first time you log in, you use a magic link sent to your email. After that, you create a password and sign in with your email and password like any normal account. Passwords are stored as encrypted hashes. We never store or see your plain-text password. If you forget your password, you can reset it by requesting a new link to your email.
Kmath has four separate portal types.
Parent portal: The primary account. Created with email and password, activated through a magic link on first login. The primary parent sees all enrolled children, manages billing, and controls all permissions.
Student portal: Students do not need an email address. Every student receives a unique ID in the format BP-XXXXXXX. The BP prefix is pre-filled at login. The student enters their 7-digit number and a 4 or 6 digit PIN. This ID appears on every document Kmath sends. The PIN can be changed by the student or by the primary parent. Students log in independently to take check-ins, access lessons, and track their progress.
Co-parent or family member portal: The primary parent can create one additional adult account. Permissions are set by the primary parent. This account can view the child's progress and watch check-ins but cannot access billing information.
Teacher or IEP coordinator portal: Created by the primary parent with permission controls they set. Teachers can upload curriculum directly to Kmath and view the child's roadmap and progress. IEP coordinators can view adapted reports and track goal progress. Neither can see billing or personal family information.
