What is the DCAR?
Kmath's math assessment, for grades K to 10
DCAR stands for Diagnostics-Led Clinical Assessment and Roadmap. It does not give your child a grade. It traces each answer back to the skill behind it, to find where understanding broke and what to do next.

Questions about the DCAR
Do I have to subscribe after the DCAR?
No. The $69 is paid once and the report is yours either way. The plan starts only if you choose it.
Is my child told when an answer is wrong?
No. Nothing is scored on screen. The results go to your report, not to your child.
Will I see the test questions?
No. The reports explain the findings in plain words. They never show the questions themselves.
Which grades?
Kindergarten through grade 10. It can find gaps from earlier grades that affect today's work.
Is it a medical or special education evaluation?
No. It is an educational assessment of math skills and does not diagnose any condition. In Kmath, "clinical" means targeted and precise.
Is the $69 refundable?
No. Payment starts the assessment, so it is not refunded.
