Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 2026
The short version
You can cancel at any time from your portal. No phone call needed. No form to fill out. In your portal, go to Account Settings, then Subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
If you cancel before your next billing period starts, you are not charged for it. If a period has already started, it runs to its end, and your cancellation stops the next one. We do not give refunds, with one exception: if we charged you the wrong amount, we correct it.
The DCAR fee
The $69 DCAR fee is paid one time per child, before the assessment starts. You get early results in 5 to 15 minutes and the full report within 24 hours. You receive two full reports and a 52-week roadmap. Once the report is delivered, the $69 is not refunded.
Monthly subscriptions
Each child has their own subscription. It renews on the same day each month. If you cancel:
- If your next billing period has not started, you are not charged for it
- If the current period has started, it runs to its end, and it is not refunded
- You keep access to your portal and your reports until the end of the period you paid for
- You can download your reports before then
If we charged the wrong amount
Tell us through the Support page. We will check it and correct it. This is the only case where we give money back.
A rate change after we check your income documents is not a wrong charge. It starts with your next bill and never changes a bill you already paid. We tell you in writing first. Our Terms of Service explain this.
Coming back after cancellation
If you come back within 30 days of cancelling, you pick up where you left off and no new DCAR is needed. If your child has been away more than 30 days, they take a new $69 DCAR, because their level may have changed. This is not a penalty. A new DCAR is how the plan restarts correctly.
The pause option
If you need a break, use the pause feature instead of cancelling. You can pause from your portal up to two times in any 12 months. Each pause lasts 30 days. Billing stops while you are paused. Your data and roadmap are saved. On day 30, your subscription starts again on its own, unless you cancel. We email you 7 days before the pause ends. If you need a longer break, that is a cancellation. You can always cancel and come back later.
Kmath is a 12-month program
The plan is built for 12 months because that is how long real progress takes. Cancelling early means leaving before the work is done. The pause feature is for families who need a short break. A pause protects your data and avoids the new DCAR requirement.
What happens to your data after cancellation
You keep access to your reports until the end of the period you paid for. After you cancel, or after a break of more than 30 days, we keep your child's learning records for 12 months so you can come back. After 12 months, we delete your personal data, except records the law makes us keep for accounting and taxes.
You can also ask us to delete your data at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
How to cancel
Go to your portal. Open Account, then Subscription, then Cancel. Your cancellation stops the next billing period. The current period runs to its end. You will get a confirmation email.
